Frequently Asked Questions
Will callers know they're talking to AI?
Yes. The assistant introduces itself as an AI and never pretends to be human, and the default greeting says the call may be recorded. It's transparent by design, which is also what keeps you on the right side of the rules.
Does it sound robotic?
No. It uses natural UK voices and holds a real back-and-forth conversation, asking follow-up questions and handling interruptions rather than reading a script.
Can it answer in my own voice?
Yes. On Intermediate and Enterprise, record about 20 seconds of yourself in the dashboard and your AI answers calls in a clone of your voice - so it sounds like you, even when you're with a customer. You confirm it's your own voice when you record, and you can replace or delete it anytime.
What happens if it can't help?
It offers to take a message or transfer the caller to a member of your team. You can also watch live and step in yourself at any point.
Do I need a new phone number?
No. Keep your existing number and forward it to Harborne AI, or claim a new number from us. Either works.
How long does setup take?
Most businesses are live the same day. There's no code, no installs, just a few settings and your own information.
Is my data safe?
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, every account is isolated, and sensitive credentials get an extra layer of application encryption. You can turn on two-factor sign-in and export or delete your data yourself.
