Email

Send client emails from your own domain or Gmail, and keep Mailchimp in step.

1.Send from your own domain

Appointment and campaign emails can come from your own address, so they land in inboxes rather than spam. Three DNS records (SPF, DKIM and a tracking CNAME) prove you own the domain.

  1. 1Open Settings → Email sender and enter a Sender name and a Sender email on your domain, e.g. hello@yourdomain.com. Click “Save sender”.
  2. 2The three records appear below the form. Add each one at your DNS host (Hostinger, Cloudflare, Namecheap, GoDaddy…), using the copy buttons so nothing is mistyped.
  3. 3The page re-checks every 20 seconds while records are pending, or click “Check verification now”. When all three show Verified, emails send from your address.

Note: Emails send from a dedicated subdomain (e.g. mail.yourdomain.com) to protect your main domain's reputation. DNS changes can take from a few minutes up to 24 hours.

2.Gmail and Mailchimp (Enterprise)

Mailchimp

Email marketing

Keep a Mailchimp audience in step with your clients, with double opt-in and every unsubscribe respected.

Gmail

Email

Confirmations, reminders and replies go to your clients from your own Gmail, so their replies come straight back to you.

3.Connect Gmail

  1. 1Open Integrations in the sidebar.
  2. 2On the Gmail card, click “Connect”.
  3. 3Sign in to the account you want to use and approve the access it asks for.
  4. 4You're brought back to Integrations with the card marked as connected.

Tip: Leave “Send email on your behalf” ticked when Google asks - without it the connection can't send anything.

4.Connect Mailchimp

  1. 1In Mailchimp, create an API key from your account's Extras → API keys.
  2. 2Paste it into the Mailchimp card in Integrations and choose the audience to keep in step.
